The visit to the Port of Bridgetown preceded that of the Port of Spain, a major port in Trinidad & Tobago.
The meeting included a tour of the terminal and port facilities. At this stage, initial points of comparison were identified. It continued in a meeting room where discussions focused on questions targeting primarily the environmental challenges and issues of the port.
The CariPorts questionnaire underwent investigative work by the team at the Trinidad and Tobago port prior to the visit, which led to fruitful exchanges with a panel of port collaborators.
Thanks to the entire team at the Port of Trinidad and Tobago for their hospitality and contribution to this project.
