The visits continued in August 2023, at the second selected port, Bridgetown: Barbados Port Inc.
After touring the terminal and the port’s land precinct, the teams from CariPorts and Barbados Port Inc. exchanged views on the characteristics of their port and their respective environmental policies.
Using the CariPorts questionnaire as a working basis, identifying the differences and similarities between the two ports will consolidate the database, serving as the starting point for building a common sustainable port development model.
